Hola! If you follow me on Instagram – @charlottebuttrick – you might have seen that I have recently been on holiday to Mexico. Despite returning to the UK early Friday AM (after leaving Mexico Thursday lunchtime) suffering with jet lag and no sleep, I powered through the day ahead to hang these beautiful prints from Desenio in our recently re-painted hallway.
You may, or may not, have seen my previous collaboration with Desenio. For today’s post I have teamed up with them again to bring you some newer prints from their huge collection of posters. For me, prints, artwork and photos really do finish off a living space and make it your own. I still always find it surprising how just the simplest of prints can spruce up your home. Since re-painting and removing our old prints and frames the hallway just seemed a little bit blank and bare.

The majority, well all of our house is a white and grey colour scheme. We even recently had grey windows put in the front of the house to match our grey drive, door and my grey car lol. But, I wanted to add some other pops of colour in the hallway that would compliment our existing colour tone. So we brought in one of my favourite colours – blue – with a pop of copper through some of the frames.
At the top of the stairs the art prints that we chose included:
Watercolor Hands No3 (30×40)
Item no: 10203-5
Aquarelle Shape (50×70)
Item no: 3504-8
Lune, Prints (30x40cm)
Item no: 8143-5

For our entrance I wanted to add a personal touch. If you didn’t know (or couldn’t tell from my pisces constellation tattoo) I am into astrology and star signs. I even recently bought a book called ‘The Signs’ that I can’t wait to read on it. So, when I spotted the star sign prints available at Desenio I had to get one for Cancer (James’s water sign) and Pisces (my water sign) to hang with a complimentary art print to bring the blue hues together.
I find this combination of colours relaxing and serene, making our hallway a pleasant place to come home to from work and leave for the day from. The prints we hung downstairs are:
Pisces 30×40
Item no: 8644-5
Cancer 30×40
Item no: 8648-5
Indigo Blue (50×70)
Item no: 8663-8
