STEPPING AWAY FROM MONOCHROME FOR SPRING
STYLING NEUTRALS FOR SPRING
SHOCK-HORROR: I am not wearing monochrome! With a shift of seasons I have decided to update my wardrobe with some lighter hues for Spring to add a ray of sunshine to my outfits. Starting with a gorgeous trench coat from Next. Not too light and not too dark, it is the perfect camel hue for wearing from day to night and is also made of a lightweight yet structured fabric.
Of course, I am not going to stop wearing black entirely. So I have used it as a base for my outfit with a black bodycon shoulder zip detail dress from Monki. Which again, is a light weight material, making it perfect for wearing during the Spring months.
To finish off the look and tie in the neutral elements of this look, I have styled with some khaki lace up Sophie heels from Public Desire, which are perfect for holiday as they are not as high a heel as their sister sandals ‘Julia’.  And a gorgeous oversized Jodie saddle bag from Accessorize, which reminds me of the popular Chloe Drew Bag design.
I was kindly asked to pick a bag from their current collection to style as part of their #IfIWereABag campaign. And this 70s’ inspired style definitely won, hands down, as my perfect Summer companion for a few beach holidays I have coming up.
