Spring Styling The Biker Jacket
Spring is here and I bet a few of you are feeling like me: stuck in a style rut.
With a change of seasons, but sporadic weather in the UK, knowing what to throw on in the morning can be hard. As who knows what the weather will be like by 12pm. So my key for surviving Spring dressing and unpredictable weather is to go for layers. Which makes the shearling biker jacket a perfect transitional wardrobe piece to see you through the seasons.
In today’s post I have teamed up with Manière De Voir to share my top Spring styling tips inspired by their shearling biker jacket, which is currently on sale. It’s a great buy for now and come next Autumn / Winter, as the shearling biker jacket never seems to go out of fashion!
6 Ways To Style The Shearling Biker Jacket
Playing with lengths
Pair a shearling biker jacket with your favourite maxi skirt / dress, or a long top layered over leather trousers. Playing with lengths and wearing long-line clothes with a shorter jacket can add a boho vibe to your outfit – especially with floral prints – and elongate your body too!

Wear with light / bleached denim
Let’s face it, light / bleached denim is always a saviour for Spring / Summer. So, why wouldn’t you style some shearling with it! I especially love the colour combination with an all black jacket. All you have to do is look at how cool the images above look, right?

Go for Sporty Styles
I love a relaxed and sporty outfit for shopping trips and weekend chilling. You may think it, but the biker jacket is a great additional layer to take your sporty look from the gym to the street.
—
Rock with band tees / logo jumpers
Nothing looks cooler than a statement logo top or band tee underneath a shearling biker jacket. Tough, chic and oh so pulled together but off duty at the same time. I love this look!
—
Dress down your favourite dress
Throw a biker jacket over your favourite dress to give it a more casual, rock chic vibe. I love the juxtaposition of pretty against rough too, so the daintier the dress underneath the better!
—
Go Tonal or Colour Block
You don’t have to opt for a black shearling biker jacket. If colour is more your thing, opt for a different hue and then colour block your outfit with the same tones. Both of the above outfits are great examples of how you can do this with a minimalistic or more adventurous palette.
