SWITCH UP AN OUTFIT BY CHANGING YOUR SHOES
One Outfit. Three Pairs of Shoes
I am a firm believer of small changes making big differences, in all aspects of life. Especially when it comes to outfits. By just switching up one element at a time, you can transform an old outfit into a whole new look. Which is where today’s post comes in.
When I was asked by Ego Footwear to pick three pairs of shoes from their current collection, I wanted to showcase how something as simple as changing your shoes can change the over all theme of your outfit. Which is great for people like me who enjoy wearing their favourite clothes.
As most of the footwear Ego offers is £40 or less, it means that you can switch up your looks without breaking your bank account. Stocking up your shoe count in the process.

Let’s begin the one outfit, three shoes experiment…
*Pom Pom Sandals £24.99
Pom Pom sandals are having a bit of a moment right now, straight off the catwalk and on to the high street. My tan pair adds a fun element to a casual day look. These will be travelling all the way to Mexico with me, to jazz up some monochrome holiday outfits.
*Espadrille Flatforms £29.99
Combining flair from Topshop and Whistle’s flatform offerings, these make a nice cheaper alternative to my beloved Chloe platform sandals. Which, makes them perfect for taking on holiday, so I don’t have to worry about sand and sea getting in the way. These add more of a dressed up, but still casual vibe, with a bit of holiday sass.
Mesh and Perspex Boots £39.99
Say hello to my new, extra sassy, pair of ankle boots. Straight away these take my outfit from day to night with a touch of sexiness and edge. I think that going for a monochrome colour makes these boots look more designer than high street and the perspex heel adds another dimension.
