The New Way To Wear Your Boyfriend Shirt
A classic shirt is always going to be a fail safe wardrobe staple. It is an essential clothing item that can be worn in formal and informal settings, on it’s own, layered under or over other garments and simply seems to go with everything. So, when I was asked by Gant to style one of their shirts I gladly took on the challenge.
Styling The Boyfriend Shirt with Gant
If you’re not brave enough to wear your boyfriend shirt back to front like this (I haven’t built up the courage to go out in Macclesfield like that yet) then you may want to go for a slightly more conservative look by tying up your favourite shirt into a knot and pairing it with your favourite high-waisted trousers, shorts or a skirt: ET VOILA!
OK, so this may exactly not be a brand “new” way to wear your shirt, but it is a new way for me and I am guessing for a number of you too? When I think of a ‘boyfriend’ fit it is usually oversized and I tend to leave one side tucked in and the other hanging oneut of my jeans. So this basically turns your boyfriend shirt into a cropped one, thus giving you two looks in one!
This look actually got a lot of love over on my Instagram recently, which I can’t thank all you lovely lot who are following me enough for. I am trying to step up my Instagram quality / game at the moment, if you had noticed?!

How I styled My Boyfriend Shirt
I doubt my love of denim with wain any time soon, which is why I am excited to incorporate more denim into my Autumn / Winter looks. Starting with this amazing Anita & Green Skirt, available from both New Look and Brand Attic, which is the perfect length for colder months and wearing with trainers and boots too!
My cute cropped jacket is from Daisy Street and to complete my shirt styling I wore my ASOS aviator glasses and some some Kurt Geiger trainers I snapped up in the Shoeaholics sale. I also found this Chloe Hudson bag dupe online, which I think is a pretty good one! What do you think off this look?
