I love trying out new styles on my hair, especially when their is a curl involved. If I can recreate the perfect ‘just out of bed’ hairstyle with a minimal amount of fuss, then I am one happy camper! For today’s post I have collaborated with ghd to share their new hair hub page with you. From occassion styles to everyday hair the ghd hair inspiration page is packed full of inspiration for all hair types and lengths. To demonstrate how easy it is to re-create a look from their hair hub I was kindly gifted the ghd Platinum Styler to showcase one of my favourite looks. Of course being a lover of messy curls I picked out this Cool Girl Wave hairstyle tutorial from the ghd hair inspiration page here.

This may seem hard at first but once you have a grasp on which way to twist your wrist, it is so easy. I can now for this hairstyle in under 10 minutes. Which makes it a perfect day to day curled look that isn’t too try hard!

CREATING ghd COOL GIRL WAVES

Below are the 9 easy steps it took to create my messy waved hairstyle using the ghd Platinum Styler. If using curling wands is more of your thing, there are also a number of tutorials on the hair inspiration page that will use a curler instead of a straightener.

1. Mist hair with curl hold spray

2. Section hair from ear to ear

3. Place styler at root, turn inwards, glide & release after 2-3 secs

4. Shake hair to loosen curls

5. Place styler below first twist and repeat steps 3 and 4

6. Repeat, leaving the front line

7. Curl front section away from face

8. Spritz oval brush with final shine spray

9. Lightly brush hair
