Flashing In Public | The Slip Dress & Small Boobs Dilemma
Oh that lifelong dilemma of wearing a slip dress with no bra.
Will you #freethenipple or not? I find that this worry is heightened when your have:
Small Boobs, and
Are wearing a slip dress.
I always feel inferior to lucky ladies who actually have breasts.
Small Boob Fashion Problems
So much so, if I am being completely frank, the other day I was asked if I would like to collaborate with a gorgeous underwear company who sell pretty bras and the lot. I was sent across a lookbook with beautiful busty models, which made me feel very unfeminine, and unfortunately they started from B/C cups upwards. Meaning there was nothing for me, which made me feel even less of a woman. But then, I often feel like it is silly for me – or anyone – to feel  less of a woman due to their chest size?
#freethenipple
For the past year of so, I have eventually come to grips with the fact that I am flat chested – I don’t know why it has taken me so long to come to terms with it, since I have known this from the age of 12 upwards. And often I will just think F*** it, I won’t wear a bra today because:
I feel comfortable without one, and
If I can’t show off some cleavage, I will let me nipple do the talking instead.
In the hope of feeling remotely sexy.
The T-Shirt & Slip Dress Trend
But, if baring your nipple under a sheer silk slip dress is a bit too out there for you. The next best thing is to layer your slip dress over a cheeky t-shirt instead. As I like to call it, this #freethenipple t-shirt is fun, cheeky and adds a bit of sass to your outfit. Plus, it is around £10 too, so you can’t argue with that can you.
And as layering slip dresses over t-shirts is the in thing to do at the moment. When I am not feeling confident or sassy enough to go bra-less and bare underneath, I don’t have to worry about my cami dress gaping on my chest, because I don’t fill it, or worry that everyone is staring at my flat chest and thinking I need to put a push up bra on.
