Birthday Outfit Planning

what to wear on a birthday night outWhat Should I Wear On My Birthday Night Out?

Now, the above is a question that I often struggle with, especially that I find myself going out less and that my ‘casual’ wardrobe becoming larger. So, as my birthday is around the corner next week I thought I would do some browsing for a potential new “going out” outfit and what I might be doing to celebrate getting a year older!

Outfit Number One: The Blazer Dress

You might have seen on my Instagram that I love this Missguided blazer Pinstripe dress, which I would probably pair with some black statement heels – like this cool and fluffy pair from Topshop. But, as we are going for food, and looking at suits for James and the wedding beforehand. I may be best opting for some trousers or something a bit warmer for walking around in!

Outfit Number Two: Smart Blazer & Leather Trousers

So, instead I could go for styling my new Reiss blazer with a pair of leather trousers. I just need to find the perfect pair. If I was going to give myself a birthday treat, I would definitely accompany my Reiss Blazer with the gorgeous Reiss pair of leather panel trousers I have chosen (which you can shop at the end of this post),  I love their biker vibe.

Then to complete either look I would finish off by accessorising with my new baby – my Balenciaga mini city bag in suede (Do let me know in the comments below if you would like a post or video on this) – and a bold red or nude lip.

My Birthday Plans

For my birthday celebrations I am heading to my favourite restaurant EVER with James and my family next Saturday night, which is Australasia in Manchester, Spinningfields. We make sure to go at least twice a year (if we can get in) and I always have to have the edamame beans, tempura popcorn, the tasty souffle and of course a pornstar martini.

Which Outfit Would You Wear?

So, there we have my two possible birthday looks. Which is your favourite? Go on, help a birthday girl out 🙂
