How I Style The Trench Coat
I love styling a trench coat with denim jeans – see this outfit post here for inspo – but my other go to is with a skirt, as I love the play on proportions and lengths. Also, as I am conscious of veins on my thighs it is the perfect cover up for anyone who is a little self conscious about getting their legs out. My skirt is from Missguided, which I featured in my £30 and under skirt haul here and I love the military buttons that compliment the buttons on my trench coat*, which is from Next btw.
It wouldn’t be a Spring styling post without throwing on two more trends with my frill shirt from Unique 21*, fishnet socks and some seriously stylish pointed mules from Next*. Which, are affordable too at just £32 – click here to buy your pair – and the flecks of beige and blue on the black base pull together the hues in this outfit.
Updating My Accessories For Spring
For Spring I am also adapting my accessories by colour co-ordinating watches and jewellery with my outfit, but also introducing a pop of colour as well. I recently added a watch with a pink face to my timepiece collection as well as my all black Ice Watch* (pictured below) which has a classy pop of red underneath. Which, also works perfectly with my favourite colour for Spring / Summer 2017: PINK!
