If you are bored of wearing black, but don’t know what colours to wear instead, then great alternatives are navy or a dark brown. These are warmer tones that don’t draw the colour from your complexion or feel as flat.  For this year’s autumn capsule wardrobe I thought I would challenge myself to curate my first every capsule edit without one black item from accessories to clothing! How did I do?

I opted for navy, and ecru as my base colours. With browns, and grey as secondary neutrals, with red/burgundy and khaki green being my accent colours. I love how all of these earthy tones work together, and although green and burgundy might be trending they are classic colours to keep in your forever wardrobe.
