Styling ASOS Mom Denim Shorts

Mother was right about Mom jeans and now she is right about denim shorts as well! Say hello to my ASOS which I stumbled across on Octer, a new mobile shopping app. They are the newly coveted denim short style dubbed ‘Mom’ shorts. As you can guess, this is a shorts version of the much loved Mom jeans, which have been knocking about for a few seasons now. I for one am all for the Mom shorts banter – think comfort and sass without your bum cheeks peeking out the bottom of super short denim.

Sticking to a blue colour scheme, I mixed my light blue denim shorts with contrasting dark navy clothing. Going for a classy/preppy / cool vibe I styled my denim mom shorts with this gorgeous premium blazer from Next, an off the shoulder top from Revolve Clothing and my Topshop mule loafers. Which, I am currently obsessed with as they are so comfy and just seem to go with everything and anything in my wardrobe!
