5 Tips To Get The Best Deals on Black Friday
1. Shop Online
Rather than fighting the crowds, the best chance to bag those bargains on Black Friday is to shop online! More choice, more stock and the quicker ability to search for what you are after. Staying comfy in bed with your laptop and a hot drink definitely beats having an arm wrestle with someone over the last handbag on the shop floor!
2. Who Are You Buying For?
If you haven’t started your Christmas shopping yet, I find it easy to brainstorm a list of who I am buying presents for, my budget for that person and a couple of ideas for presents or retailers where I could shop for them. Alternatively, if you are taking advantage of the Black Friday and Cyber Weekend sales for yourself have a think about what items you are after – so you don’t do too much impulse buying and end up returning most of the things you buy!
3. SEARCH & BOOKMARK THOSE PAGES
Once you have determined what you want to buy in the Black Friday / Cyber Sales you can find where to buy them. For example, James and I are after a new TV and John Lewis always have some pretty good sales, but Selfridges offer up to 20% off some departments and I am sure that Supermarkets will also be worth a look too. So, we have searched and found our favourite LG 4k 50-60 inch TVs (I am keeping my fingers crossed for this one) and I have bookmarked them all in my browser.Which brings me to my next point…
4. START EARLY
Black Friday sales start online from 12am, so stay up late or set an alarm to wake up and beat the online traffic. This also means that you will be at the front of the queue when it comes to bagging those bargains. Come 12am on Friday morning I will be opening all of my bookmarked items to see which is the best deal. Meaning I will hopefully go to sleep a happy bunny!
5. Shop Retailers / Discount Codes From One Place
Rather than going back and forth between a number of websites, you will find it easier to have one webpage open as resource for what retailers are selling, the offers and discount codes (if required) Which is why, I am putting together a Black Friday / Cyber Weekend post that will go live at 12am Friday morning (or Thursday evening, whichever way you prefer to look at it) including some of my top picks from retailers. So don’t forget to come back for that, as you can shop and click through to retailers easily and copy and paste their codes for discounts!
So there you have it. Five tips that you can start this Black Friday Eve to bag the Best Black Friday Deals! If you feel like starting early you can get 30% off at Public Desire from now until Monday 28th using the codes below:
